About Me

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara, California, I spent my weekends hiking and backpacking through the Santa Ynez Mountains—often with a trumpet in hand as a Boy Scout bugler. I stayed close to home for college, earning my B.A. in Liberal Studies from Westmont College. After a brief but memorable time as a kindergarten teacher, where I reaffirmed my passion for education and helping others, I transitioned into college admissions to continue guiding students toward their futures. This journey led me to Colorado, where I now enjoy answering questions about Colorado Mesa University and helping students find their perfect college fit. When I’m not working, you can find me listening to 70's music, singing in the car, reading or getting caught in the rain.

Favorite thing about Grand Junction

Downtown Grand Junction is a great place to explore, full of hidden gems. I love grabbing pizza at Pablo’s Pizza and gelato at Gelato Junction! The whole town has an incredible vibe, and the scenic views are truly breathtaking. Everywhere you go, you’ll find calendar-worthy landscapes. I highly recommend exploring the National Monument and the Grand Mesa.
